Context
How We Are Using It
PowerShift was developed as part of a project in collaboration with the French Development Agency (AFD) and key representatives from Colombia’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, Ministry of Mines and Energy, and the National Planning Department.
We designed the game to facilitate nation-wide cross-sectoral understanding, dialogue and collaborative policy-making for a just and low-carbon transition. PowerShift has been used with over 160 Colombian stakeholders to enhance understanding of the macro-economic aspects of the transition and its implications for Colombia’s economy and strengthen high-level inter-ministerial dialogue.
PowerShift empowers decision-makers to develop strategies grounded in real human agency. It can be applied to contexts outside Colombia.
